The proposed solar farm between Brant Broughton, Leadenham, Welbourn, and Wellingore is classed as a Nationally Significant Infrastructure Project (NSIP).
As a result, the proposal will be determined at the Planning Inspectorate
Concerns have already been raised in terms of scale, siting, amenity impact and that this loss of good arable land is unsustainable; from both a food security and environmental viewpoint.
